Six years after its release the band followed up with 2014′s stunner The Unnatural World, Deathconsciousness has become a force of influence and fanatic obsession. Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). The Future” moves furiously, at times even boisterous when its choruses explode with spastic pop influence. Have a Nice Life released their debut double-album Deathconsciousness in 2008 to a whimper and critical non-interest; six years later, the band followed it up with 2014’s stunner The Unnatural World.

It is perhaps a fanbase as dark and mysterious as the Antiochean’s, the album itself revolves around.Seamlessly blending shoegaze, post punk, new wave, industrial and noise with unparalleled depth and weight, the album was originally released by Enemies List Home Recordings founded by HANL members Dan and Tim. The sound quality of this record is bass heavy, clear when it needs to be, noisy when it needs to be and sounds really good. The corresponding album is rhythmic, primal and expansive, and is a gloomy-post-punk masterpiece—a mediation on death, loss and existence.

Kotiinkuljetuksesta perimme rahulia 3,99€ pienemmistä lähetyksistä (lähinnä cd:t) ja isoimmista vermeistä eli vinyyleistä, huppareista yms 5,99€. excellent record, there's been a good effort remastering this but I feel like if they truly want to make a well mixed/produced record they need to remake it entirely. Deathconsciousness feels more fresh and engaging with every listen and has held up as a remarkable piece of art. The opening track, “A Quick One Before the Eternal Worm Devours Connecticut,” is a seven-minute instrumental of acoustics swimming within dreamy synthesizers. Holy Fucking Shit: 40,000” segues from the prior track with a gentle melding of ukulele, twinkling electronics, piano strokes and vocals that exist behind a warm, muffled fuzz.

The Flenser’s reissue is accompanied by a 75-page booklet detailing the dark and forgotten history of the Antiochean cult — an engrossing narrative that blurs the lines between liner notes, novella and academic text. the flenser is currently repressing this record regularly, using the same masters as the 2020 press.
