Rosewood is a generic term to designate different species of wood, as much used in perfumery as in cabinet making. Rosewood is known in botany under different Latin names, depending on the region of origin. It is found on the island of Madagascar, in Burma or in eastern India. But it is from Brazil and Guyana that it originates. Indeed, this fragrant tree likes to grow in tropical forests with a hot and humid climate. From the Lauraceae family, the rosewood produces small yellowish flowers which are not really fragrant. Its colorful name comes from its bark, recognizable by its pinkish veins and the unique floral scent it gives off. From discovery to regulation

I’ve owned bottles of intense cafe, ristretto intense cafe, roses vanille, k’bridge club and Delox and my sample of rosewood has arrived today. Also, if you don't know what you're smelling how can you critique a scent? Did anyone ever smell Palisander Rosewood? I haven't. Guilty. NO idea what it lends to this overall concoction.

i can see this might become a go to oud fragrance for a lot of people in the community as its not very challenging and smells pleasant to people yet smells 'Niche' and unique. Listed as unisex, I find it rather feminine but I can imagine that men can also smell fantastic with it :) The most evocative shades of brown. Oud Rosewood conveys the olfactory image of both a warm brown streaked with light brown, like a round, soft and lustrous rosewood, and the more rugged, nomadic brown of oud wood." Throughout evolution, a liqueur scent is noticeable, as if a strong drink had been spilled on the living room's rug during a visit from friends. It is not something that bothers, but that everyone feels. For me, this is the biggest differential of this creation. Although the vanilla is present, the benzoin is more prominent on my skin, reinforcing the oriental aspect of the fragrance. Ingredients: Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Chloride, Glycerin Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid, Polyquaternium-7, Tetrasodium Glutamate, Diacetate, Parfum

As someone said below, Rosewood doesn't shout, it whispers. It's a perfume that carries itself with quiet confidence, and one which gives the best hugs. I am going to wear this for the rest of the week to give myself a proper chance to get to know it, because I do love the way I smell right now. I'm just not sure yet that it's very 'me'. I love the rich amber color, representing the twilight desert, inside the jar made with French glass. As for the projection, it is a fragrance of low trace and high comfort. It exudes to the wearer and draws attention to who is close enough to feel it. It has high durability. In contrast to some people below i think this is very much in the same vein as LO and PO - they certainly share the same Dior-oud note and where PO is a bit drier and LO is a bit rounder than OR, the dry down of all three are fairly similar (except for the extra animality in this one). For the Wax Melts: You will receive a 50g (approx) plastic container, filled with 7-8 pieces of wax moulds blended in a fragrance of your choice, each melt will give around 1 hour burning time.

I have to say out of all of them this one is my favourite and I plan to get this when I finish my bottle of ristretto intense cafe.

This is a simple amber perfume with powder, dusty pink rose and maybe a smidge of white musk. It's warm and cozy and I would put Rosewood in the same family of fragrances as Burberry Woman and not any tea fragrance. I don't get any tea or bergamot at all.
