Pairing the gong MC with the author's writing skills that evoke emotions, it's no wonder that some might like this novel. We're probably gonna get Xia Sini and Chu Xun in the next volume and I'm so not ready for the emotional damage but I know I'll prolly read it in a day or two. Yet as Mo Ran shamelessly pursues his own goals in this life he thought lost, he begins to wonder if there might be more to his teacher--and his own feelings--than he ever realized.

I floated between a 4 and 5 stars for this but ended up rounding it up for the number of scenes which sucker punched me and made me have emotions. This is a fictional story, it's not real and it can be idealistic or have all sorts of ideas that can't be recognised in real life - not to mention people losing first times to each other or having past relationships is quite normal and common in real life too, so that aspect isn't a stretch at all?

There's so many different types from the cold sect masters to the demonic overlords (in these types of stories alone). People are much more than what they show on the surface: Chu Wanning, for example, is like aloe vera. When I reached chapter 281 I encountered a message that said I need to wait one day before I can read any more free chapters. Unlike authors who treat r*pe lightly as something they can use for their pe*verted characters, 2HA indeed has lots of warnings, but which are used for a character portrayal, madness and cruelty.

Mo Ran's character development is commendable, and I can give you it in a nutshell with a few of his lines throughout the novel. The shark too massive for this story to leap over does not exist, and if it did, the story would find it and jump over it anyway. I really enjoy the story and this translation is amazing but I don't have no money, neither an access to my bank account so yh. But later, little by little, with his s*upid brain he started to realize that his entanglement of hate/love with his Shizun in both lifetimes occupies his thoughts much more and means to him a lot more.

He originally thought that dogs should be with dogs, like his senior brother, who was beautiful and docile, like a cute Japanese Spitz.

It was originally published on JJWXC from September 21, 2017 to July 30, 2018 with the last extra chapter published on August 25, 2019. That’s how I encounter myself LOVING every single sentence, dynamic and main character without caring about whether it is moral or not. However, word of warning, this novel will make you stay up at 2 am contemplating on why you chose to read this. I was literally squealing when he started making all the right choices instead of the wrong ones (yes, Mo Ran, you're my baby! Yet, after having died and having been reborn, after having lived two lifetimes, the one that he ended up hauling back to his den in the end was always the one he initially despised: the snow-white cat shizun.
