I was sort of hoping for some in between insights and while there were a few of those, this was mostly a self-help book with some movie summaries sprinkled in. You get all the trademark humor of the Scott Lang character as he answers FAQ's from fans, tells the inside story of the Avengers vs. As a long term Marvel fan (films, characters and the comics/graphic novels) I was so excited when I was granted access to an ARC copy of Marvel Avengers Ant-Man: Look Out For The Little Guy. Be prepared for some behind the scenes sneaks to some of the epic kickass adventures we’ve all heard about and watched on TV. However it is a very fun time and I just find it hilarious that I actually got to read the "in-movie memoir" from a Marvel film, it's just so random and bizarre I love it!

This is a memoir and as you will get if you know who that is, it's a humorous one with little truths sprinkled all over. At first I feared this was going to be one of those disappointing reads where you really like a celebrity, get the impression they'd be fun company, but when you pick up their memoir it's too busy trying to be inspirational to let them be themselves. This is not the type of book I would normally read, mainly cause this is written like a self help book and I despise those kinds of books 😭 but hey this is written from the perspective of Scott Lang so like I couldn't not read it.He brings his own perspective to a lot of his encounters (such as what it’s like to be body slammed by Black Widow) and some really touching tributes to those lost along the way. It was a great trip down memory lane to be able to experience the magic of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a completely different yet creative way. Across his many adventures big and small, Scott has gathered the wisdom of countless amazing experiences into this, the first memoir from a real-life Avenger.

Scott Lang reminisces on his time in prison and his exploits with VistaCorp fighting the good fight but going down for the crime. If this can be done then there is absolutely no reason we shouldn't have The Woodsboro Murders by Gale Weathers or Out of Darkness by Sidney Prescott.

Because my life just like yours - loses half its value if we don’t find a way to share its lessons with others. Dive into the pages of my new book, Look Out for the Little Guy , to read all about what it's like to be the little guy (and sometimes, the very, very big guy) overcoming all the odds to help defeat Thanos. These are stories of epic battles won and lost, as this everyman turned Super Hero finally tells all-from the official account of what really happened between the Avengers and Thanos to how shrinking down to ant size really feels to the challenges of balancing the roles of hero and dad.

Because my life—just like yours—loses half its value if we don’t find a way to share its lessons with others.

I would definitely recommend this to any fans of Marvel/Avengers/Ant-Man or simply anyone interested in a fun superhero story which is made to seem like a hero’s autobiography.

It's Scott telling the story covering the Ant Man movies, Civil War and End Game so there's a bit of going over those events and wee insights into what part Scott played. Look Out for the Little Guy is a novel about Scott Lang, also known as Ant-Man, from the Marvel comics/movies. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. Even if Paul Rudd himself had half-assed a single paragraph it would’ve been a delight to read compared to this garbage. The stupid “motivational” content gets repeated continuously throughout the book, so if you fell asleep earlier on, don’t worry! Along the way, you’ll hear about my story—Scott Lang’s story—from where I started to the (ant-) man I’ve become, and am still becoming.
