Description

They replace the VTOL engines under the ship and module as well as the main propulsion units; plastic baffles detail the last. Although some subjects in their catalogue (science fiction and real aircraft) seem accurate, the Eagle and Ultra Probe are weirdly distorted and probably the least accurate models ever made.

I spent 24 hours building MPC’s Eagle and recommend it to intermediate modelers and above looking to add one or more transports to their collection. In 2017 Century Castings (Alex Jackson) produced a detailed passenger pod interior for the Round 2 22 inch Eagle, mastered by Richard Lamer, with variations including passenger seating and computer wall. I was needlessly worried about the weathering, and probably cleaned up the wash too much too, it definitely would have looked okay with a bit more dirt. The kit comes with an extensive water-slide decal sheet, a full-colour deco guide, and assembly instructions. I've bought some black photographic sheeting to hang behind my models when photographing them, but I've not got around to trying it yet.MPC gives you three painting options for the Eagle: a plain white transport, a red-and-white striped rescue module, and the orange VIP transport I built. As seen in the Space 1999 episode 'War Games', this model kit is in scale with the WARP and Product Enterprise Eagles. Sold in a bubble pack, with red and black card art (series logo and rescue Eagle over lunar surface, art by Graham Bleathman).

Can be displayed extended or retracted and is designed to allow the builder to install magnets (not supplied) for attachment. The MPC Space 1999 Eagle Transporter 22" Long from the plastic Sci-Fi model kits range accurately recreates the spacecraft from the Space 1999 television series. There are also blueprints reproduced from the Moonbase Alpha Technical Notebook and a short merchandise guide. We always use good quality packaging materials and take great care to pack items carefully to ensure that they are adequately protected while in transit. Its utilitarian nature was clearly demonstrated when the central passenger pod was swapped out to perform duties ranging from general transportation to rescue missions, but the feature became even more apparent when the cargo pod was implemented.

The set includes options for three versions of the stun gun and includes viewscreen and ID badge variants on the water-slide decal sheet. A second model, Eagle w/Lab Pod, is a version of the Eagle with a lab pod (as seen in The Metamorph); this first came out in 2003. They include three options for the crew module windows: blacked out, crew in helmets, or crew without helmets. Includes additional resin parts to create the version of Eagle 1 that featured a lab pod as well as the booster pack. The previous release of the 12” version of the ship has always been well-received by fans and modelers everywhere. The opener to season two of Space:1999 introduced this fan-favorite variation of the Eagle Transporter. Very neat and considering how much weathering you did in the build thread it looks remarkably clean Then again I do tend to dirty up my Eagles quite a bit.
